- The Collaborative welcomes a new participating agency, the St. Louis Low Brass Collective. This group provides Collaborative school band directors with opportunities for professional musicians to do low brass sectionals, master classes, coaching, audition preparation and more. Two FREE professional development opportunities this fall:
September 29, 4:00 p.m., "Scottish and Celtic Folk Songs" (use them in your vocal or general music classroom tomorrow!); music and worksheets provided. Recital Hall 205, Music Building, UMSL. September 30, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. "Senses of Adventure" for visual art and music teachers at Laumeier Sculpture Park. Reimbursement after the workshop day for substitute teachers for participants via the Lankford process. (Limited to the first 30 to register.)
