A letter from Laurel Wacyk, Director of Education at the Sheldon:

I am delighted to offer a special event for student string players at The Sheldon on March 6 at 10:30am.  The Arianna String Quartet will be presenting “Musical Teamwork” in the perfect acoustics of The Sheldon concert hall.  The members of the ASQ offer a program illustrating teamwork, shared commitment, and what happens without a full and supportive commitment from each member of the team.  This is specifically geared toward secondary string players, but any teenagers who participate in music could all get something out of it.  The members of the ASQ are amazing performers and engaging speakers- you won’t want to miss it!  You can read a description and register your orchestra on the link below.

Like our other educational concerts, the cost is $5 per ticket, with 1 free chaperone for every 10 students.  Payment will be due 30 days before the show, February 6.   We are also able to offer ticket scholarships and some busing assistance for qualifying schools, because of generous donors who support our education programs at The Sheldon.   The registration has a page where you can request need-based assistance.
Please let me know if you have any questions.  I’m happy to help.
