We are beyond thrilled to be back in person at the Metro Theater Company studio for our annual Educator Preview Night! Please join us as we kick off our 50th season with this free preview event exclusively for educators and donors. You’ll get a special sneak peek at all the amazing things to come in the 22-23 school year, from mainstage productions to touring shows to classroom education programs… and did we mention there’d be snacks… and wine?

Here are just a few of the exciting things we’ve got in store for Educator Preview Night:

  • See an excerpt from local playwright Mariah Richardson’s brand-new play Bold, Brave, Curious! – before anyone else in St. Louis! – with an introduction by Mariah and director Kathi Bentley

  • Meet a member of the cast of our fall mainstage production, Seedfolks, and get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the set

  • Chat with our incredible Education Team about the diverse range of in-class education programs they have to offer this year

Prison Performing Arts is a multi-discipline, literacy and performing arts program dedicated to enriching the lives of youth and adults in Missouri’s criminal and juvenile justice systems. The purpose of the St. Louis Low Brass Collective (STLLBC) is to provide St. Louis and surrounding regions with educational and performance opportunities for student and amateur low-brass (trombone, euphonium, baritone horn and tuba) musicians, to present concerts and events that are of interest to regional low-brass musicians and provide educational and event information, via a web site, to members of the general public who are interested in low-brass music.
