During her residency, Maria works closely with local schools, community centers, and arts organizations to develop initiatives that engage individuals of all ages in the joy of music.

Recent projects include:

• Youth Empowerment through Music: Partnering with local schools to create after-school programs that integrate music education with life skills development. 

   

• Collaborative Music Workshops: Leading interactive workshops that allow participants to create music together, regardless of experience level, to build camaraderie and encourage cross-cultural dialogue. 

   

• Concerts and Public Performances: Organizing and performing in community events that showcase the talent and creativity of local musicians, while also celebrating the richness of St. Louis’ diverse cultural landscape.
