North County Sing & Play | St. Louis Childrens Choirs

The St. Louis Children’s Choirs will host “Sing and Play” musicianship choir for students in grades 3-5 at UMSL in partnership with the Des Lee Collaborative. The focus of the musicianship choir is to bring free music education to students in the UMSL community. The musicianship curriculum will strengthen a child’s ability to experience, interact with, and create music through singing and movement games. Students will play and improvise music on Orff Instruments while developing their singing voices and strengthening their aural skills through the Orff and Kodály inspired curriculum.

The ensemble will meet every Tuesday on the UMSL campus. 100% tuition free! Tuition, music, classroom materials, and a t-shirt will be provided by The St. Louis Children’s Choirs and Des Lee Collaborative.
