2024 Summer Ballroom Dance Camp | STL Dancing Classrooms

St. Louis Dancing Classrooms 2024 Summer Ballroom Dance Camp June 24th-28th 9:30AM- 1PM at Majestic Dance Studio CLICK HERE TO REGISTER Join us for a fun week of dancing, creating connections, and making memories!  Throughout the week, St. Louis Dancing Classrooms Teaching Artists will lead participants in learning the basic steps of three different ballroom/social dances put together into short choreographed routines. On the last day, attendees will have the opportunity to show off what they learned in an informal performance. Come learn the Cha Cha Cha and make some new friends! Camp is open to both alumni of the St. Louis Dancing Classrooms in-school residency program and children

Aug 6 – 8 Suzuki Harmony | Summer Camp at the Touhill

Suzuki Harmony STL desires that all students have access to private music lessons and the indelible impact such experiences have on human character and musical aptitude. We envision families and the community working together to encourage musical and social progress. You can sign up your students for the Suzuki summer camp that runs from  August 6th-8th from 9am-4:30pm at the Touhill Performing Arts Center. Ages 6-18. Creative Arts Camp 2024 | Metro Theater Company

Creative discovery is what it’s all about as the arts disciplines blend together. Gateway Festival Orchestra Outreach Program Concerts The GFO sponsors outreach concerts and performances  that are free and open to the public for children of all ages. Our showcase would feature a 45-minute set including a Q&A session with our small educational chamber ensembles to perform in spaces within your public library, school building, or senior living facility.  Gateway Festival Orchestra’s first board president, Lily Kaufman, loved great music and kids. In her honor, GFO’s “Developing the Active Listener” program is presented by music educators who are members of the orchestra. EXPERIENCE ALL THE MAGIC OF ACTING, MUSIC, MOVEMENT, AND CREATIVE STORYTELLING CLASSES AT CAMP REP! Camp Rep is unlike any other theatre camp in town. Our campers will experience a two-week artistic immersion which culminates in a creative showcase for families to see. We are providing engaging instruction from some of the region’s leading teaching artists. Introduce your children to the magic of opera! Hosted by the St. Louis Public Library, students ages 9-13 will explore the basics of stagecraft, including singing, writing, composing, costuming, stage makeup, and set design. Campers will use their new skills to create and stage their own original opera. After the camp, students, parents, and guardians will have the opportunity to attend a matinee performance of The Barber of Seville. Campers entering 6th through 8th grade in Fall 2024 Mon-Fri, June 3-7, 9 am to 4 pm Mon-Fri, June 10-14, 9 am to 4 pm Locations: Saint Louis University, Xavier Hall, and Black Box Theater $340/week Teaching Artists: Tyler White and Hailey Medrano These two unique week-long sessions will cover the fundamentals of acting, devising new work, and improvisation! Each camp experience includes opportunities to create original work and explore scripted scenes. Metro Theater Company and Saint Louis University provide a welcoming community for young actors to grow– regardless of their previous experience level. This camp will consist of ensemble building, master classes (like stage combat), and scene work.
