UMSL Education Major Seeks to Involve More Students in Performing Arts

Music education major Alex Wurl striving to get more children involved in performing arts!

Wurl, who works with St. Louis Children’s Choirs and the Des Lee Fine Arts Education Collaborative, is student teaching at Barretts Elementary in Manchester during his final semester at UMSL.

For the past year, Wurl has been working hard to expand opportunities for students across St. Louis to get involved with music and fine arts through the Des Lee Fine Arts Education Collaborative.
